Scope
InfraEconomy Group reviewed OSJD regulatory and technical requirements and advised on Lao PDR’s participation in relevant international agreements and their practical implementation. The team analysed trade and transport flows along the corridor and developed recommendations for digital interoperability, customs simplification, and cross-border operational coordination to enable seamless rail operations.

Impact
The assignment resulted in an approved national roadmap for alignment with OSJD and ESCAP frameworks, supporting the sustainable development and effective international integration of the Lao–China railway corridor.
